Yes, the iPhone 12 models support eSIM. All iPhone models that support eSIM can have multiple eSIMs and use Dual SIM with two active SIMs at the same time.
The iPhone 12 is a dual-SIM iPhone with full support for nano-SIM and eSIM, just like the iPhone XS, XR, 11, 13, and last SE series.
This means that you can use two lines simultaneously, for example, you can use your home-based SIM card provider for phone calls and SMS and a mobile data plans carrier such as Ubigi eSIM when you travel abroad to access the Internet at cost-saving prices.
However, it is important to note that if you want to use 5G with Dual SIM on iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, or iPhone 12 Pro Max, make sure that you have iOS 14.5 or later.
